Tabu has lapped a stellar role in music composer Sandeep Chowta’s debut film as a director.
The film is tentatively titled ‘Jasmine’ and will cast Nagarjuna, Kay Kay and theatre actor Boman Irani in a side role.
It is believed that the movie is based on a women-oriented theme. Although there is no confirmation, buzz has it that the film tells the story of trials and travails of young girl Jasmine, to be played by Tabu.
The film is expected to go on floors in October.
Tabu was last seen in horror flick Hawa and Jaal: The Trap both if which bit the dust at the marquee.
