After coming together in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham the famous Bollywood jodi of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, will return on silver screen soon.
Acclaimed Bengali director Rituparno Ghosh has ambitious plans to make his mark in Bollywood. We know that the director has signed Big B to essay the leading role in one of his two projects.
And now it is learnt that Ghosh has persuaded Jaya Bachchan to play Amitabh’s wife in the movie.
And that’s not it for Amitabh and Jaya. Besides Ghosh’s movie, Bachchans will star together in a TV commercial for Sahara. To be shot by cinematographer and ad-film maker Kiran Deohans, the ad will feature Amitabh and Jaya as sootradhar.
Kiran had earlier shot Amitabh in his very first commercial for BPL television and more recently the Lomani Amitabh Bachchan range of perfumes.
