It was Mahesh who tapped Sanjay’s acting potential in his film Vaastav that got Sanjay critical acclaim and a Filmfare award to boot. The two were then seen together as gun totting robbers in Sanjay Gupta’s crime thriller Kaante.
And now when Dutt is working in his next movie ‘Plan’ (being made by White Feather Films, a company jointly run by Dutt and Gupta), how could Mahesh be left out of the project.
It is learnt that Mahesh has been signed to play the role of a villain in the film. Even Sanjay’s role in the movie has some shades of gray.
