With just over a month to go for Karisma Kapoor’s planned wedding, some of the ace fashion designers are working on beautiful bride-to-be’s trousseau.
It is learnt that Karisma’s wedding dress is being designed by young Mumbai-based designer Manish Malhotra, who is known for giving hep look to many Bollywood stars.
Manish is believed to be designing a resplendent lehenga for Karisma. The dress will also have embellishments like traditional embroidery, sequins and zardozi work.
Besides designing for Karisma, Malhotra is also working on a dress for Kareena Kapoor and saris for their mother, Babita.
There are rumors that Karisma had earlier approached fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to design her trousseau, but the duo declined the offer because they share a good rapport with Bachchans. It is also believed that Karisma has hired one more designer, besides Manish, for her other dresses.
Karisma is expected to marry the Delhi based businessman Sunjay Kapoor (of Sona Steerings) by September end this year.
