No strain in relations between Bachchans and Kapoors

The rumors of ‘wedge’ between Bachchans and Kapoors following the announcement of Karisma’s marriage to a Delhi-based businessman, have turned out to be baseless.
The Bachchans have close ties with the illustrious Kapoor clan of Bollywood. In fact, they are also related to them as Abhishek's sister, Shveta, is married to Nikhil Nanda, who is Raj Kapoor's grandson.
Not only this, the Bachchans are also on very good terms with Karisma’s groom-to-be Sunjay’s father Surinder Kapoor.
So, is the news of Karisma’s impending marriage with Sunjay likely to strain Bachchan’s relations with either of the Kapoors?
“No way,” says a source close to the family. “Both Abhishek and Karisma are mature enough to take important decisions of their lives and this will have no effect on the ties that Bachchans have with Kapoors.”
