Apna virar ka chokra Govinda had been accused of financial fraud by a local financier in Indore. However, the actor was recently absolved of such accusations by a district court.
Govinda has been taking rounds of the Indore courts lately. A local financier Suresh Garg had sued the actor along with Prakash Jaju and the firm ad labs, alleging that the actor and the two alleged persons had taken a sum of Rs. 10 lacs from him. The case was being fought in Indore district court.
As it appears, the trio had taken the money for a movie titled Dil Laga Ke Dekho. However, the movie never took off and the project was subsequently shelved.
But the financier went to the court demanding the return of the loaned money from the trio.
The Indore court however cleared Govinda of any charges on the grounds that the dealing was between Garg and Jaju. So the actor of the film is not responsible for the return of the money.
