Veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy’s son Rohan makes his directorial debut with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai starrer Kuch Naa Kaho which will hit the theatres on Friday.
As Rohan asserts, Kuch Naa Kaho is not just another teenybopper romance but a mature love story.
The protagonists in the movie are mature man and woman. The film has Abhishek playing the young American Indian who is under pressure from his family to search for his bride. Ash plays the girl who is assigned the task of looking for the girl who would be his prospective bride.
Rohan says he did not cast Abhishek as the film’s hero just because he was his childhood friend.
“I saw him as the character. I knew I could connect with him on a personal and creative level,” the director is quoted to have said.
