Ramgopal Varma is unhappy with the pre-release publicity and promotion of his latest production Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon. So the filmmaker has decided to postpone the movie’s release by a week or two.
While there are rumors that Ramu was apprehensive about the film’s release during the shraddh time, the director-cum-producer says that is not the case.
The movie, starring Anatara Mali as the small town girl who wants to be a big actress like Madhuri, was earlier slated to hit the marquee on September 19.
But it turns out that Ramu is not satisfied with the movie’s promotion. “The promotion is not as aggressive as it should've been. I intend to promote the film more," the filmmaker is quoted to have said.
The film’s release has now been postponed to September 26 or October 3.
October 3 will also see the release of big budget movies like Baghban and Khel.
