And that change in attitude seems to have helped Bebo immensely. For she has drawn praise from none other than Govind Nihalani who is directing Kareena in Dev alongside bigwigs like Amitabh Bachchan and Om Puri.
Mind you, Nihalani is one of those art directors who don’t hold mainstream glam dolls in very high esteem. But that has not stopped him from praising the junior Kapoor girl lavishly.
Nihalani describes Kareena as the most gifted actress of her generation and he adds that the ‘amazing Kareena’ is destined for truly great things.
Nihalani does not stop here. He goes on to say that Kareena has great passion for acting and not only she is an absolute natural and great judge of her own self, her advantage is that she has taken much less time than Karisma to make the move from masala movies to meaningful cinema.
It is reported that Nihalani loved her perky performance in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon.
