Raveena Tandon has walked out of Mehul Kumar's Jaago, in which she was playing the mother of a rape victim.
Raveena, who recently has been appointed the Chairperson of the Children's Film Society of India, cites the rude behaviour of the filmmaker as the reason of her walking out of the film.
But on the contrary, Mehul says that Raveena was dictating terms throughout the making of the film, which obviously at times was embarrassing for him. On of the co-stars of Jaago stands by the director's statement.
Jaago also stars Sanjay Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai. Sanjay plays Raveena's husband in the film while Manoj plays the role of the cop who is assigned the task of solving the case.
Mehul says that he won't be replacing Raveena with anyone in the film as only the final days of the shooting remain. And as far as dubbing is concerned, the director says that he will get someone to dub Raveena's voice.
The war does not end here. While Mehul maintains that he will release the film in December end, Raveena threatens that she will not allow him to release the film.
It will be interesting to see whether Jaago will be an eye-opener for Raveena or Mehul.
