Diya Mirza has denied the rumors that she is planning to put her acting career on the backburner and take a plunge into film production business.
A number of Bollywood actresses have been taking to film production of late. Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Koirala and Raveena Tandon all have launched their own production venture. And there has been a grapevine floating around that lissome Diya Mirza too is contemplating on donning the producer's cap.
However, Diya has laughed away such canards calling them as gossip talk or misunderstanding.
Describing the cause of such misunderstanding, Diya is quoted to have said: "I guess, it all started when I joined one of the corporate houses in the capacity of its Vice President. Some of the names associated with them have ventured into production, so people must've insinuated that I am in the process of starting a film as well."
Diya adds that she is pretty satisfied with her acting assignments in Bollywood. She is presently involved with Khalid Mohammad's Tehzeeb and another movie titled Sambhav.
