Having come to notice for her performance in Rituparno Ghosh’s Chokher Bali, Raima Sen has embarked on a film signing spree.
Raima seems to be coming of age as an actress. While everybody pinned expectations to Ash’s performance in Chokher Bali, it was Raima who sprung a surprise with her act that was ridden with subtle nuances. The result now is that Raima seems to be in demand among a number of filmmakers.
Raima will soon be seen playing an interesting role in Imtiaz Punjabi’s film titled Fun2oosh…Dudes of the 10th century. After that Raima will get to play the leading role in debutant director Sanjay Bhalia’s experimental film ’99.9 FM’.
But that doesn’t sum up the flicks in Raima’s kitty. She is also likely to do a David Dhawan’s comic movie.
