Jimmy Shergill has been waiting for a long time to step out from Bollywood sidelines into the limelight. His wait has ended with a movie that marks the return of one of the finest exponents of family entertainers Basu Chatterji.
After a pretty long sabbatical Basu will return to moviemaking with a fun and frolic flick titled Prateeksha.
Being produced by Sahara, the movie will have Jimmy playing a Hindu boy who falls in love with a Christian girl, to be played by Diya Mirza.
It is learnt that Basu is thinking of signing the yesteryear actress Zarina Wahab for an important role in the film.
The movie will also have senior actors like Anupam Kher and Govind Namdeo.
