Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra starrer Waqt: The Race against Time went on floors on November 24.
The film is a very ambitious venture by Vipul Shah, the director of Big B and Akshay starrer Aankhen.
For the mahurat of the film, a podium was erected right in the middle of Mumbai’s Juhu beach. Film’s leading actress Priyanka flagged off the mahurat ceremony with an audiovisual presentation. Thereafter, Amitabh, Akshay and Priyanka presented a live performance on stage. The mahurat was followed by a get-together for an august gathering at a suburban hotel.
Vipul reveals that the movie is a story of a father and a son, (to be played by Bachchan and Akshay).
“It's a completely emotional film and I am sure, it will be identified by every father and son not just in our country, but throughout the world,” the director is quoted to have said a leading entertainment portal.
