Now that she is back in Bollywood, offers have not stopped pouring in from avid filmmakers for Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Rituparno Ghosh, Zoya Akhtar, Rajkumar Santoshi and Prakash Jha to name a few.
But the Dhak Dhak girl has still not decided whose film she will sign and is still enjoying her time with her bundle of joy son Arin in Mumbai.
The grapevine has it that Jha has also discussed some scripts with Madhuri. Jha previously directed Madhuri in Mrityudand, which was a women oriented film set in Bihar. Though Mrityudand was a not a big hit, Madhuri’s acting was greatly appreciated.
Reports say that Ghosh has also approached Madhuri for a major role in one of his two Hindi films. Reportedly she is keen on a top male co-star while Rituparno is not. But hope things will work out for good.
Meanwhile, Madhuri and her entire family recently saw Ram Gopal Verma’s Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, that has Antra Mali aspiring to become Madhuri and they simply loved it. Does that bring Ramu also in the race?
Whoever’s film Madhuri may sign, but one thing is for sure: her comeback vehicle will be most eagerly awaited.
