The Saathiyajodi of Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherji has been chosen as the Actor-Actress of the year by the Indo-American society for its Fourth Annual Young Achievers Awards.
Other Bollywood stars to be felicitated include Ajay Devgan, Urmila Matondkar for the actor-actress of the decade award.
Vivek and Rani’s Saathiya enjoyed a good run last year and was particularly appreciated by female viewers who could easy empathize with Rani’s character in the film.
The awards will be formally given during a ceremony on December 13 at Taj Mahal Hotel.
The other award recipients include Shreya Ghosal and Priya Bhattacharya (in the music category) and Nagesh Kukunoor (film director). Some sportspersons and businessmen (Prasoon Joshi, Firdosh Anklesaria and Subi Samuel) will also be felicitated at the ceremony.
