There have been rumors that Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea’s forthcoming film Chehra is the remake of their earlier hit Raaz. The movie’s director has laid such rumors to rest.
Speaking about Chehra, it director Saurabh Shukla says that although the movie belongs to the same psycho-thriller genre as Raaz, the plot of the two films is completely different.
In Chehra, Bipasha will play a phobic woman who can’t get any peace of mind because she believes that someone is trying to kill her. It may be just her imagination, or there may actually be someone after her life.
Major portions of the film have already been canned and only a few outdoor sequences need to be shot.
Chehra is likely to hit the theatres in March-April next year.
