Will ‘Deewana’ come back to Raj Kanwar? 26th Dec 2003   09.53 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau   Before Shah Rukh Khan became a star in 1993 with the success of Baazigar, he had delivered a hit with Raj Kanwar in Deewana, in the previous year. Deewana, which was a triangle also starring the late Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor was a smashing hit and was not a stepping stone to success not only for SRK, but also for Kanwar. But strangely, both SRK and Kanwar did not work together after that, though SRK made a special appearance in Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega , which had Salman Khan Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta in the lead roles. But now the buzz is that Kanwar may approach SRK for his next film. Kanwar got a big hit earlier this year in Andaaz , which had Akshay Kumar Lara Dutta and Priyanaka Chopra in the lead roles. Though Kanwar is not yet ready with a script, he does not deny thinking of approaching SRK for his next film. He does not even divulge whether that film will be a love triangle or not, but the director knows that even though Deewana was way back in 1992, the expectations of his next film with SRK would be huge.
