Despite being a superstar in Bollywood for good many years, Amitabh Bachchan is a humble man at heart.
All the adulations that Big B receives from his fans don’t make him a least bit arrogant or high headed. The superstar takes the praises with ‘humility’.
“I accept people’s appreciation with a humble heart, but there is also a sense of shock. I doubt if I am deserving of so much adulations,” says the self-effacing Bollywood icon.
One instance of Big B’s humility is when he contributed to the structuring of a scene in his forthcoming film Khakee. Film’s director Rajkumar Santoshi took his suggestions and incorporated it into the movie. But Bachchan even refuses to take credit for that.
“It would be dishonest of me not to articulate something I feel strongly about in the process of shooting. I made a suggestion and it was accepted. That doesn’t give me the credit of structuring the scene,” says Bachchan.
Sure some of the high-headed Bollywood stars can learn a lot from this man.
