Preity proved to be Bollywood's most successful actress last year with two hits films to her name - Koi Mil Gaya and Kal Ho Na Ho. So naturally the filmmakers in tinsel town want the actress for their forthcoming venture.
Imtiaz Punjabi, who made a forgettable movie 'Fun2shh', has now started work on his next film, which will be a supernatural thriller.
It is learnt that Imtiaz has approached Preity to play the leading role in the film. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be based on a woman-oriented theme.
However, there is no confirmation yet whether the feisty Zinta girl has given her consent to acting in his movie or not.
Apart from this, it is also heard that Farhaan Akhtar, who recently completed Lakshya with Preity and Hrithik Roshan , is readying the script of his next movie too. He has expressed the wish to cast Preity in the flick.
