Manisha may still have to learn the nitty-gritty of filmmaking to be able to give a genuinely interesting movie to the audience. Her maiden production venture Paisa Vasool is proving to be nothing more than a lame attempt at comedy.
The film tells the story of two girls who are stuck in a dangerous situation owing to their own boomeranged attempt at being rich overnight.
Most of those who saw the movie found it ‘just ok’ with ‘nothing special’. Some even went to the extent of calling it simple ‘foolery’ or ‘stupidity’ in an effort to make viewers laugh. A few enraged viewers even rubbished Manisha and Sushmita’s acting in the film.
The popular opinion is that the situations in the movie are overhyped and the humor just doesn’t tickle the funny bone.
“It is ridiculous,” said a couple, while walking out disappointed after seeing Paisa Vasool.
