International model Padma Lakshmi , whose first film in Bollywood Boom went bust at the box-office, but now she may be seen on screen in another film.
Padma is reported to be have been signed for a film that is based on her husband Salman Rushdie's novel.
The film in question will be directed by Apurva Lakhia.
Lakhia's claim to fame is that he is the director of the Abhishek Bachchan - Lara Dutta starrer Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost .
Maybe a flop director can give Padma the much-needed hit?
