After his brief stint in modeling and stage shows Imran Ali Khan is gearing up to make his mark in Bollywood.
Imran was earlier seen in a very miniscule role in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham . But now he will be seen in a parallel role alongside Sohail Khan in ‘ I: Proud To Be An Indian ’.
In the movie Imran plays a Pakistani who is the victim of racial discrimination in UK. He joins hands with Sohail (who plays an Indian) to fight the racists.
Imran says he latched on to the role because he could identify with his character completely. He himself was a victim of such discrimination while his schooling in UK.
For the time being Imran is cooling his heels to see the response to ‘I: Proud To Be An Indian’ which will hit the marquee in February. He is believed to be holding talks with a number of producers. He also has a dream of acting with his favorite superstar Amitabh Bachchan .
