Manoj Bajpai believes that his latest film Jaago should serve as a wake up call to people about the shameful issue of child rape in our society.
In Mehul Kumar’s Jaago Manoj is playing a righteous cop who is given the case of nabbing the rapists of a nine year old girl.
The movie is based on the real life incident of a child rape that occurred in a Mumbai train.
Manoj says that through Jaago he got the opportunity to contribute something towards the society.
“Through the movie we want to create an awareness about the issue. I think while watching the movie the viewers will at least think seriously about the problem form some time,” said the actor.
