Diya Mirza has been signed to play an important role in Daylight Productions' film titled 'Stop'.
The film, to be directed by lesser-known Ajai Sinha, also stars new-find Rocky Bhatia, Tejaswini Kolhapure , Anupam Kher , Ishita Arun and Gauri Karnik.
Although not much information is coming forth about the movie, it is speculated that it will be a romantic thriller strewn with comic moments.
Diya, who was last seen playing a mentally retarded girl in Tehzeeb, will not be the leading actress in 'Stop' but she will still have considerable footage.
The film recently went on floors with a 15-day schedule at Mikanos (Worli), where an item number was picturised.
