Nana Patekar is back with yet another power-packed performance in Ram Gopal Varma’s Ab Tak Chhappan. However, the actor opines that good roles are hard to come by in Bollywood.
Nana has worked in three films – Bhoot, Darna Mana Hai and Ab Tak… – made by Varma in last one year. But the best of these performances by Nana has come in the recently released Ab Tak Chappan.
Speaking about his role in the film Nana says: “Good roles are hard to find nowadays. What is good about my last three films with Ramu is that all the roles were author backed and meticulously penned. I was especially impressed by the character of Sadhu Agashe in Ab Tak….”
And Nana seems to have done full justice to his role of a cold-blooded cop in the film.
So much that even Ramu can’t stop singing the actor’s praises. “Nana has surpassed his previous performances in Ab Tak…. In fact, this is amongst the finest performances Hindi cinema has ever seen,” said the filmmaker.
