Karishma Kapoor , who tied the nuptial knot with childhood friend Sanjay Kapur last year, joins the unending league of artists from Bollywood who are being roped in as brand ambassadors by major companies.
Karishma would be the brand ambassador for the leading soft drink concentrate manufacturer Rasna.
"Karishma is a mass icon, adored in every corner of the nation and she has achieved this through sheer hard work and dedication to quality", Rasna chairman and managing director Piruz Khambatta said in a release in Ahmedabad recently.
Commenting on her appointment, Karishma said, "it's great to be officially endorsing a brand that I have unofficially promoted all these years."
The cine star would also feature in Rasna's new ad campaign to be directed by adman Prahlad Kakkar, it said.
