Newcomer Mallika Sherawat looks at the increasing sexual exposure in Bollywood films from a different perspective.
Mallika considers it a complement to be addressed as ‘sexy’. According to the hot belle sexual attraction and the desire for sex is completely biological and there is nothing wise in fighting against one’s own biology.
Rubbishing the idea the increasing exposure in Bollywood film would make females a mere instrument of male gaze, Mallika cites the example of painters from Ruben to Raja Ravi Verma who paint nude women.
Mallika’s contention is: "one man’s porn is another man’s art."
Mallika is sure that things are going to change for good as a new brigade of open-minded youngsters enter Bollywood.
"The winds of change have started sneaking in," says the pretty damsel who will be seen in bold roles in Hawas and ‘ Murder ’.
