India’s first acknowledged superstar, Rajesh Khanna , will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Lifetime of Glamour Award at the sixth Bollywood Awards and the fourth Kingfisher Bollywood Fashion Awards in the United States.
Tinseltown TV founder and Chief Executive Officer Sheeraz Hasan will be presented the "American Dream Award" for outstanding achievement and building bridges between Hollywood and Bollywood.
The Bollywood Awards 2004 will be announced at the ceremony to be held on May 1 at the Mark G Etess Arena, Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where the Bollywood Fashion Awards will be held at the Xanadu in the same resort a day earlier.
As reported earlier by us, Kal Ho Na Ho , Koi Mil Gaya and Munnabhai MBBS have dominated the popular, critic and technical nominations for the awards. The top five rankings for a total of thirty four Hindi feature films have been selected on the basis of ballots cast by Bollywood fans within the United States, Canada and the Caribbean countries over the past few weeks.
The electrifying event which will be viewed by over 250 million viewers on television in over 80 countries.
