What is Shah Rukh Khan’s philosophy of life and what is the code the flamboyant actor lives by every waking hour of the day?

Shah Rukh Khan has seen many sides of life in his thirty-plus years of age. From his college life and his struggling days in Bollywood to his rise to stardom, all these years have culminated into wisdom about life and its purpose.

“My philosophy is to try and live every moment of life to the fullest. I have learnt a lot from my children. I believe children live more in the present moment than adults because they don’t carry the heavy weight of past like grown ups do,” says SRK with a demeanor void of any philosophical affectation.

SRK says he is an avid reader and has read about lives of ancient king Asoka (on whom he has also made a film) and Gautam Buddha. He has also read Koran and he recently finished reading a biography of Prophet Mohammad.

“There is so much to learn from great people who have lived in the past. It provides you with a different perspective of the world and the life that we live. The juice that comes out of this ancient wisdom is to be aware of the present moment and to live in it. Because Kal Ho Na Ho,” the actor says with his characteristic charisma.
