Talks are abuzz that Amitabh Bachchan has been signed for a movie which is being described as a thrilling murder mystery.
The film titled Maharathi will star Amitabh with multi-talented Paresh Rawal . The two were earlier seen together in Aankhen which was based on a Gujarati play ‘Blind Man’s Bluff’.
Coincidentally, Maharathi too is based on a Gujarati play. In fact, Paresh Rawal himself had directed the play way back in 1994.
To be produced by Asthavinayak Films, the movie is being described as a murder mystery with unexpected twists.
One interesting fact about Maharathi is that it will be a songless film with a running time of about two hours. The movie will go on floors early next year and will be shot in 18 days straight.
