In Sunil Darshan's forthcoming film Mere Jeevan Saathi, Akshay Kumar plays a man caught between two beautiful women - Amisha Patel and Karishma Kapoor The film is based on the story of a love triangle in which Akshay plays a rock star Vicky who harbors the dream of making it big in the music industry one day. He is in love with a girl named Anjali, played by Amisha.
Complications arise when another girl Natasha (played by Karishma) falls for Vicky.
Natasha is the owner of a music company and understands Vicky's ambitions of becoming a rock star. She begins to use her influence in the industry to get Vicky's love.
Speaking about her role in the movie, Karishma revealed that she plays the character of a rich, pampered girl with shades of gray. Amisha, on the other hand, said that she plays a traditional Indian girl with middle class values.
Akshay was rather in a joking mood when he was asked about his character. Holding both the ladies courteously by his either side, he said: "I play a man caught between two beautiful women."
