Action man Sunny Deol has been signed by director Guddu Dhanoa to play an unusual role of a villager who leads the fights against the contamination of village river.
The debacle of Dhanoa's last film Kismat has not prevented him from going into further projects. The filmmaker is already busy with his next film Deodhar Gandhi.
In between, Dhanoa will also devote time to Padmalaya's next film, starring Sunny Deol in the leading role.
The yet-to-be-titled film is believed to be a remake of Tamil film titled 'Dhool' (starring Vikram, Jyothika and Reema Sen).
In the film, Sunny will play a villager who fights with a minister to stop contamination of their village river.
The producers of the film are thinking of signing either Amisha Patel or Sameera Reddy to play Sunny's heroine in the film.
