There have been rumors that the release of Hum Tum may be put off by a week to avoid the clash with Amitabh Bachchan starrer Deewar.
Both the films are slated to hit the theatres on May 28. But some gossip talk suggested that the producers of Hum Tum are thinking of postponing the film's release by a week, as multi-starrer Deewar might prove to be a crowd puller and therefore eat into Hum Tum's market share.
However, the director of Hum Tum, Kunal Kohli has rejected such rumors and confirmed that his movie has enough substance to pull movie buffs to the theatres.
Starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee , Hum Tum is a frothy entertainer, targeted at the youth. It traces the life of two characters over the period of nine years of their lives. It will hit the theatres on May 28.
