Kim Sharma was supposed to shoot for Akbar Khan’s slowly progressing Taj Mahal in the first week of May. But the actress did not turn up for the shoot.
It is interestingly coincidental that Akbar Khan’s movie is taking no lesser time than it tool the great king Shahajhan to make the wonderful monument for his beautiful wife. The movie went on floors in the early months of 2002 and since then has been progressing at a speed no more than that of a snail.
An important shoot for the movie was to be held at Filmcity in the first week of May but the actress Kim Sharma (who plays Laadli Begum in the film) played truant and did not turn up for the shooting.
While the director complained with AMTPP for Kim’s unprofessional behavior, the actress said that she had allotted only 20 days to Khan in 2002 and her contract with the director expired way back in 2002 only.
However, Kim says she is willing to shoot for the movie after May 20 as she is currently busy with other projects.
