Shilpa Shetty is playing a high society call girl in actor-turned-director Deepak Tijori’s film titled Khamosh.
For the first time in her career, Shilpa Shetty is playing the bold role such as this, and she is leaving no stone unturned to get under the very skin of her character.
Speaking about the preparations of her role of Sonia, a sophisticated escort girl in the film, Shilpa says: "I have so many ideas that I feel like incorporating in this character. I have come across some girls like her and I will try to incorporate their mannerisms in my performance."
There are even parts in the movie that show Shilpa smoking. And Shilpa, being averse to smoking had difficult time giving these shots.
"Sonia is a chain-smoker. When she is nervous, she trembles. Once she lights a cigarette, she is okay. There is no usage of filthy language in the film, mind you," says Shilpa.
Shilpa’s co-stars in the film are Shawar Ali and Rajeev Singh.
