Aamir Khan ’s first celluloid production Lagaan proved to be a hit and also got nomination at the Oscars. But why has the perfectionist Khan ventured into another production after that.
Aamir believes that he is ‘perhaps not cut out to be a film producer.’ But why?
The actor says that he lacks the tact to do business with film producers. He recalls that he still hasn’t been able to squeeze out money from certain distributors of Lagaan.
But then on a second thought, Aamir says that he would not mind entering into another production if the subject was exiting enough.
"One of the reasons why I have not started another production is that I haven't come across a script that would really excite me," he admits.
Meanwhile, the actor has almost completed shooting for Ketan Mehta ’s The Rising and is gearing up to work for Rakesh Mehra ’s Rang De Basanti .
