Hrithik Roshan will soon be seen speaking Spanish on the big screen! No, the Roshan Junior has not signed up for a Spanish film.
Rather, the Spanish version of his debut venture, the superhit movie Kaho Na Pyar Hai , will be released this month in Spain and 20 other Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
'Reencuentro Con El Destino', the dubbed Spanish version of the Bollywood blockbuster will be shown in phases across the Spanish-speaking countries, trade sources said.
To begin with, the film will be released in Peru and Colombia, the sources said.
The release of the dubbed version of Kaho Na Pyar Hai in Latin America is the result of a deal signed between the film's producer and Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan and a Pune-based company PPL entertainment whereby PPL acquired the Spanish theatrical dubbing rights of Kaho Na Pyar Hai from the Rakesh Roshan-promoted Filmkraft Productions.
As per the deal, the company secured from Filmcraft the rights to distribute and exhibit the dubbed version of the film in Latin American countries.
The dubbed version of Kaho Na Pyar Hai, which is to be released in countries like Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Spain as well as the United States, is of two hour duration, one hour less than the total three hour duration of the original film.
Also, the film will have just two songs, unlike the original version, which had seven songs.
The dubbing of the film has been done in Mexico using professional artistes from Spanish countries, the sources said.
In fact, the two songs retained in the film have been recorded in Spanish by local artistes.
