Movie fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Aishwarya Rai’s first English movie Bride and Prejudice .
While the shooting for the movie is almost through, its director Gurinder Chaddha is taking her time to give it the look that she wants. So there will be at least three more months before the movie could hit the marquee on October 8, 2004.
The movie, starring Aishwarya Rai opposite the Kiwi actor Martin Hendersen , is the Indianized adaptation of the Jane Austen classic 'Pride and Prejudice'
The character of William Darcy in the film is played by Martin, while Ash plays an Indian girl named Lalita.
The others in the cast include Namrata Shirodkar , Meghna Kothari Anupam Kher, Peeya Rai Choudhary, Naveen Andrews, Nadira Babbar, Indira Verma and Daniel Gillies.
