Juhi Chawla is not a bit enthused about the clichéd roles in Bollywood films. She is more interested in offbeat roles even though it is in small budget flicks.
After her flamboyant performance in Jhankaar Beats, Juhi is now gearing up for a stellar role in a Punjabi film opposite singer-actor Gurdaas Mann.
The film will be a Punjabi-Hindi bilingual to be directed by Manoj Punj, who earlier directed Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai starring Tabu and Mann.
There will also be an English version of the film targeted at the international audiences. It is titled Political Asylum.
Apart from this Punjabi film Juhi is also acting opposite Maqbool star Irfaan Khan in a movie titled Dekhna Na Bhule.
In the film she plays a television producer who is desperately in need of a reality show and therefore shoots a live wedding.
