Ilene Hamann, the South African model, who is in India to act in Pooja Bhatt’s film Rog, was alleged to have been harassed by immigration authorities on Thursday.
Mahesh Bhatt, the noted filmmaker and scriptwriter, has accused the Mumbai police of harassing Ilene.
According to Mahesh, Ilene was called to the immigration office where she was strictly questioned for three long hours although she had all the valid papers.
The immigration chief, Deban Bharti, denied Mahesh’s claim, saying that Ilene was called only for inquiry about her visa papers.
