After his stellar performance in Prakash Jha’s Gangaajal , Ajay Devgan will be seen in a negative role in director’s next movie.
Following a relatively good response to his last film, Prakash Jha is attempting yet another realistic fare, titled Apaharan . The film deals with kidnappings of influential people. Jha has incorporated several real-life incidents in the film.
The film will star Devgan and Nana Patekar in pivotal roles. The two were previously seen together in Ramgopal Varma's Bhoot .
The interesting part is that both Ajay and Nana enact negative roles in this film, while Ajay's father in the film, Dr. Mohan Agashe, is the positive character.
Apaharan will go on floors on July 11 and will be shot in shot in Mumbai, Pune and Satara.
