Noted dialogue writer Tanveer Khan’s movie Mumkin is a film about the inner dilemmas of a young girl who has to get over the tragedy of her sister’s untimely death in 9/11 attacks.
The movie has Bipasha Basu playing a young and vivacious college-going girl whose life is turned ‘downside up’ with her sister’s death.
However, Mumkin is not about 9/11 tragedy. It is a romantic movie about a girl in love with a guy ( John Abraham ) who is a member of an anti-terrorist organization. But her inner dilemmas arise because she is engaged to another guy ( Priyanshu Chatterjee ), who runs an advertisement company.
Film’s writer and director Tanveer Khan says Mumkin is based upon a subject that hasn’t so far been tried in Hindi cinema. The story in the movie is set in Parsi neighborhood.
The film has music by singer Roop Kumar Rathod and lyrics by Shakeel Aazmi.
