One leading daily even compared him with the erratic ways of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. But now suddenly Bollywood and the media are discovering the good side of the muscular Khan. Due to his ‘wild image’ soft drink maker Thumps Up cancelled its contract with Salman and roped in Akshay Kumar . 
Tere Naam , Baghban , Garv and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi seem to have done the trick for Salman for now suddenly he is in everybody’s good books. But Salman insists that times have changed but he still remains the same and that he still doing exactly what he has always done. So things are looking up for Salman professionally. He not only has some good films to be released in the future, but has also become the brand ambassador of a leading shoe company. Top footwear brand ‘Red Tape’ has signed Salman as their brand ambassador. Salman’s good friend Sanjay Dutt played the same role for ´Marco Ricci´ leatherwear brand. |
