Farhan Akhtar's younger sister Zoya Akhtar will make her directorial debut with a rather unusual film that will have Tabu in the leading role.
Titled 'Luck By Chance', the film will take a real look into what goes on in front of and behind the camera in the film-making industry. The movie will, therefore, have many cameos by Bollywood stars and celebrities who will play themselves.
Zoya had earlier approached Madhuri Dixit to play the leading role in the movie but things did not work out between them. After that, Zoya approached Tabu, who agreed to play the role.
In Zoya's own words, 'Luck By Chance' "would be like Robert Altman’s The Player. It will be an insider’s look at Bollywood. Everyone I’ve met here (in Bollywood) is a character in my film, though not in any direct way.”
Brother Farhan is writing the dialogues for the movie and is also producing it. He will also play a cameo in the film - he will "play himself".
Wonder whether Tabu is also playing herself in this flick?
