When Veer Zara will meet Musafir

In December 2002, two big films clashed at the box-office - Sanjay Gupta's Kaante and Saathiya from the Yash Chopra stable.

While Kaante was an out an out action thriller, Saathiya was a romantic film, that is probably why both the films didn't eat out on each other audiences and managed to do well at the marquee.

And this November (around Diwali, which a boom time for big releases) Yash Chopra and Sanjay Gupta are slated to clash again.

While all are waiting for Chopra's directorial venture (after seven years) Veer Zara, Gupta's Musafir may also be released at the same time.

Veer Zara stars Amitabh Bachchan , Shaha Rukh Khan , Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles.

Veer Zara is already making news not only because of Chopra's return to direction, but also because of its music, which was composed by the late genius Madan Mohan and which has been rendered in the voice of nightingale Lata Mangeshkar .

Musafir, like Kaante is an action thriller having a rugged touch and theme to it. The film stars Sanjay Dutt , Anil Kapoor , Mahesh Manjrekar and Aditya Pancholi . The female starcast includes Sameera Reddy , Koena Mitra and Yana Gupta The film is in the news for the hot smooch between Anil and Sameera.

The story revolves around the life of Lucky (Anil), who has been through life's twists and turns a plenty. After living an unstable childhood with no permanent ground, Lucky decides to head in one direction whichever one it may be. Lucky decides to go for a quiet positive life after one last trip with his girlfriend and embarks on the trip. Unfortunately, as he embarks on his trip, he is unknown as to what he will face. His journey begins as he will have to work extremely hard to change his life the way he wants it.

Lucky encounters a number of obstacles ranging from deception, crime and danger. There he encounters his ex girlfriend (Sameera), fleeing from a drug lord who wants his life (Dutt) and meets up with a man who offers him money to kill someone (Manjrekar).

Pancholi plays the cop on Anil's trail.

How does Lucky make it through his trip? Will Lucky cross over to the good side safe and sound or dead?

Musafir tells Lucky's tale through trouble, danger and close calls and how it changes him through out.
