SCOOP!! & NEWS Ajay in comedy film by Priyadarshan06th Oct 2004 17.27 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau After a series of serious and intense roles, Ajay Devgan will be seen doing comedy in a film to be directed by Priyadarshan. Priyadarshan is a name synonymous with comedy films. The talented filmmaker already has a good number of projects up his sleeve – a film starring Salman Khan , and a project for Venus films. 
Now, Priyan has been roped in by Popcorn Entertainment (a company partly owned by Sunil Shetty ) to direct its next production venture. Ajay Devgan has been confirmed as the film’s hero while talks are on with Shahid Kapur to play a parallel role. The leading ladies of the film have not been decided yet. The yet-untitled film will also have Priyan’s favorite Paresh Rawal . The movie will go on floors in February next year. Popcorn entertainment’s previous two ventures Khel and Rakht sank at the box-office. So the company is now choosing its future projects with caution. |
