Clash of the Khans this Diwali

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan face-off each other when their movies will clash at the box office this Diwali.

Yash Chopra ‘s magnum opus Veer Zaara starring Amitabh Bachchan , Hema Malini , SRK, Preity Zinta , Rani Mukherjee and Manoj Bajpai will be releasing this Diwali.

Also in line for release this Diwali is Salman starrer Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, in which the female lead role is played by Salman’s good friend Shilpa Shetty .

Veer Zaara is a touching love story between a Pakistani girl (Preity) and an Indian Air Force pilot (SRK). Rani plays a Pakistani lawyer in the film fighting to bring the two separated lovers together. Manoj plays Preity’s fiancé. Bachchan and Hema play SRK’s grandparents in the film.

Directed by Yash Chopra, Veer Zaara has music by the late legend Madan Mohan, taken from the bank of melodies he had created when he was alive.

Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar is a family social interspersed with humour and intense romance of Ayaan (Salman), a young robust dynamic and handsome man from an upper middle class family who falls in love with a beautiful model Ahana (Shilpa) who belongs to a very liberal ultra rich family and is from the upper strata of the society.

With the passage of time the two get married. Both Ayaan and Ahana are looking forward to a happily married blissful and contented life. But cultural differences between the two threaten to break their marriage.

Directed by K.S. Adhiyaman, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar has music by Sajid-Wajid and Daboo Malik.

Apart from these two films, also slated to release this Diwali are Akshay Kumar , Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer Aitraaz and Abhishek Bachchan and Antara Mali starrer Naach.
