New Zealand premier Helen Clark says she will urge producers of India's prolific Hindi film industry to use her country for outdoor location shoots, during her visit to India next week.
"Bollywood diplomacy is important for us and it can be an important link between our countries," Clark told a leading newspaper in an interview.
"Many Indian films have been shot in New Zealand and if more Indian films have New Zealand scenery, it will help boost tourism here," she said.
Clark’s gesture is basically intended to woo filmmakers in Bollywood to make her country among the most preferred shooting destinations.
Hrithik and Amisha’s first film Kaho Na Pyar Hai was partly shot in New Zealand. The film turned out to be a hit across India and many foreign countries.
