SCOOP!! & NEWS Vaastu Shastra is terribly spooky: Sush21st Oct 2004 20.49 IST By Aparajita Ghosh Fiction translated into reality when strange incidents started happening on the shooting sets of Vaastu Shastra , a spooky thriller starring Sushmita Sen and Chakravarthy . The film, co-produced by Ram Gopal Varma , is the story of a couple that move into a new house. At first glance, everything looks ok in the house, but soon, their four-year-old son starts noticing ghostly presence inside the house.
In an interview to a leading News and Entertainment portal, Sush recalled that the most chilling part of making the movie was when strange incidents began to happen on film’s sets. “Certain incidents happened that were quite frightening like the mirror falling off a wall suddenly, our microphones picking up the frequencies of other people on other sets, strange whispers,” Sush is quoted to have said. When asked whether she believed in ghosts and spirits, Sush said that there are too many supernatural incidents that one hears of, that one can’t but believe. About Vaastu Shastra, Sush said that it is “a terribly spooky film.” It is also her first horror film. The movie is directed by Sourabh Usha Narang. It is slated to hit the theatres on October 22.
